Finding friends who will be there no matter is hard to come by. The important thing is to find a friend who doesn't care what you're going through, they just want to be there for you, even if they don't agree with whatever it is. That kind of friend will probably be in your life for a long time, because you can trust them to respect you and love you no matter what.
Carrie Bradshaw once said that "Maybe our girlfriends are our soul mates, and guys are just people to have fun with" Ever heard of the saying "Bros before Hoes." well that rule applies for girls as well. Don't end up being that friend who will go to crazy lengths just to have a romance with a guy, even if it means hurting your closest friends. No one can beat your best friends.
Luckily for me, throughout H S I have made some of the best best friends any person could pray for. They're all so different from each other, but that's why I love them. We know that even if one of us doesn't understand where the other is coming from, one of us will. We have gone through so much together and done so many crazy stupid things that I can't look back at a H S memory that doesn't involve them.
This year one of us had the great opportunity to house a foreign exchange student, and we already feel, or at least I do, that she has been a part of our little family forever. God couldn't of landed a more perfect girl to add to our friendship circle even if he tried. We're so lucky to have her on this journey called senior year.
